For me the most hopeless time I faced was when at age I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. With three small children the youngest only three years old I needed more time to raise them. I talked to my higher power who is my Lord and my Savior. He gave me a piece I have never know to face the battle ahead. I read many books of inspiration and religious books on the subject as well as self help books on dealing with cancer. This carried me through those hard times. I not only survived cancer, but I was able to teach my children the power of the Lord, and his grace and love for us. I am now fifty seven years old and god has blessed me with the honor of raising my grandson who is three years old now and I have had him since birth.
